Graphic Designer Prepress

The job of the prepress designer is to create virtual mockups/proofs for our customers and to prepare production files for decoration. This role works with multiple departments so having strong communication and problem-solving skills is helpful to the position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Edit customer-provided artwork to company-specific product templates
• Email customers for proof approval and handle edit requests
• Create proof and production templates for new products
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve design-related issues with files that affect production
• Vectorize art when the provided artwork is raster
• Basic photography skills
• Multi-task between different types of orders and specialty projects

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in Graphic Design with an emphasis on production design
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Works independently and can handle multiple priorities
• Knowledge or experience in the Promotional Products industry (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge or experience with Imprinting and/or Engraving (preferred but not required)
