Graphic Designer

Design and Creativity

1. Concept Development: Brainstorm and develop creative concepts based on client briefs or project requirements.

2. Design Execution: Create visual content for print and digital media, such as logos, brochures, posters, websites, social media posts, advertisements, and more.

3. Brand Identity: Design and maintain consistent brand visuals, including logos, typography, and colour palettes.

4. Illustration and Layouts: Develop custom illustrations, graphics, and layouts for different platforms.

Technical Skills

5. Software Proficiency: Use graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or other design tools to create high-quality visuals.

6. Prepress and Printing: Prepare files for printing, ensuring colour accuracy, resolution, and compatibility with various printing processes.

Collaboration

7. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present ideas, and incorporate feedback.

8. Team Collaboration: Work with marketing teams, content creators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.

Time and Project Management

9. Meeting Deadlines: Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.

10. Budget Management: Work within project budgets and resource constraints.

Research and Trends

11. Market Research: Stay updated on design trends, competitor strategies, and market preferences to create relevant designs.

12. User Experience (UX): Design with the target audience in mind, ensuring usability and engagement in digital or interactive designs.

Problem Solving

13. Visual Solutions: Translate complex ideas or information into clear, compelling visuals.

14. Troubleshooting: Resolve design-related issues, such as layout inconsistencies or technical challenges.

Additional Responsibilities

15. Motion Graphics: Create animations or motion graphics for digital platforms.

16. Web Design: Design website layouts, user interfaces, or collaborate with developers on website projects.

17. Photography and Editing: Capture and edit photographs for design use.
