Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, strong visualisation skills and the ability to create visually appealing designs. This role requires a collaborative mindset, a creative problem-solving approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you have 4 to 7 years of experience as a graphic designer at a communication/ digital/full-service/ boutique agency, go ahead and apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Interpret and Visualise: Study design briefs thoroughly to understand and visualise client requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and brand guidelines.

2. Conceptualise and Innovate: Develop and conceptualise innovative visuals based on project needs, effectively translating ideas into compelling designs across various platforms.

3. Design Across Media: Create striking and effective designs for all digital mediums, social platforms, print, and web, ensuring consistency and brand integrity in all visual communications.

4. Draft and Present Ideas: Prepare rough drafts and present concepts for feedback, refining designs through iterative processes to achieve the best possible outcome.

5. Apply Design Principles: Skillfully use colour theory, typography, and layout principles to create aesthetically pleasing, balanced, and brand-aligned graphics.

6. Collaborate Creatively: Work closely with copywriters, creative directors, and other team members to produce cohesive and impactful final designs that resonate with the target audience.

7. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all final graphics and layouts are not only visually appealing but also meet high-quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines.

8. Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest industry and technological standards, staying informed about current design trends, social media developments, and competitive market shifts.

Working days: Monday-Friday (Working on the weekends is very likely in this ecosystem, but only when required)

Skills

1. Proficiency in Design Software: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, XD) and other relevant design tools.

2. Creative Thinking: Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities, with a passion for bringing ideas to life visually.

3. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in all design elements and final outputs.

4. Time Management: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

5. Communication: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present and explain design concepts.

6. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

7. Industry Awareness: Up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, with a keen eye on the competitive landscape.

8. Team Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and project management.
