Graduate Engineer

Position:

1. Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.
  
• Knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and design concepts.
  
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  
• Proficiency in construction materials, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  

2. Project Management

• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
  
• Coordinating with contractors, architects, consultants, and clients.
  
• Resource management, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  
• Ensuring projects are completed within time, budget, and quality parameters.
  

3. Site Supervision

• Managing day-to-day construction activities.
  
• Ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety norms.
  
• Conducting inspections and supervising site teams for smooth workflow.
  

4. Quality Control & Assurance

• Implementing QA/QC procedures on site.
  
• Checking materials and workmanship to maintain standards.
  
• Identifying defects and ensuring corrective actions.
  

5. Safety Knowledge

• Understanding and enforcing safety protocols as per OSHA/IS standards.
  
• Conducting toolbox talks and promoting a safety-first culture.
  
• Risk assessment and hazard identification on site.
  

6. Estimation & Cost Management

• Preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis.
  
• Monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and minimizing wastage.
  
• Coordinating billing, measurement sheets, and contractor payments.
  

7. Software Proficiency

• AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, Primavera, Revit (as needed).
  
• MS Excel and other documentation tools for reporting and analysis.
  

8. Communication & Coordination

• Clear communication with clients, teams, vendors, and management.
  
• Preparing reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
  
• Strong negotiation and coordination abilities.
  

9. Problem-Solving Skills

• Ability to identify technical issues and provide practical solutions.
  
• Managing unexpected site challenges and making quick decisions.
