Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Java Backend Developer (Fresher) to build scalable backend services using Spring Boot. Focus on RESTful APIs, unit testing, and database integration. Optional exposure to Spring Batch and AI/ML is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain RESTful web services using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement unit tests with JUnit for robust code quality.
Design and work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for data modeling and queries.
Ensure API performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate in Agile teams using JIRA for task tracking.
(Optional) Build batch processing jobs with Spring Batch; integrate basic AI/ML models.

Required Skills

Technical (Must-Have):

Java, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services
JUnit for unit testing
Relational databases (SQL queries, schema design)
Basic understanding of APIs, microservices

Optional (Preferred):

Spring Batch for batch processing
AI/ML basics (model integration)

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving and attention to detail
Quick learner, adaptable to fast-paced Agile environment
Good communication for team collaboration

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE) or equivalent
