Role Overview

We are seeking a Gold Loan Officer to manage day-to-day branch operations, drive loan growth, and deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, banking, or NBFC operations with strong communication skills and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and explain gold loan products, interest rates, and repayment terms
• Verify and value pledged gold ornaments accurately
• Manage loan disbursement and repayment collections
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance as per regulations
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive business growth
• Achieve monthly loan disbursement and recovery targets
• Safeguard pledged gold and ensure proper security measures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in gold loans, NBFC, banking, or financial services
• Strong numerical and valuation skills
• High integrity and trustworthiness (mandatory for handling pledged assets)
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Loan Management Systems)
