Gold Loan Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the loan processing areas (branches or outlets) remotely via webcam or live video feed, on a defined sample basis (for example, x % of daily transactions or at random intervals) to ensure compliance with hygiene, handling and packaging standards.
• Review photographs of packed gold-loan items (pledged gold, sealed bags/containers, documentation wrappers) and verify that the packing meets the organisations standards for security, cleanliness, labelling and documentation.
• Verify that branches are following the prescribed SOPs for gold-loan pledging: e.g., cleanliness of the area, proper sealing of pledged items, correct labelling, correct imaging/documentation of goods, and safe storage pending further processing.
• Maintain a checklist or audit form for each sample reviewed, including video review and photographic review, noting deviations, non-compliances, and observations.
• Flag and report any instances of non-compliance or potential risk (e.g., improper sealing, unclear labelling, unsanitary conditions, inadequate documentation, camera blind-spots) to the Manager Hygiene & Vigilance and relevant branch head.
• Propose corrective actions or follow-up monitoring for branches showing repeated deviations, and track closure of corrective actions.
• Generate weekly/monthly dashboard reports for senior management, summarising sample coverage, findings, types of deviations, branches with high risk, and trend analysis.
• Work with the operations/branch teams to help implement best practices and to ensure continuous improvement in packaging, documentation and process hygiene.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity and security of all review data (video footage, images) and maintain records as per policy.
• Participate in training sessions or audits (remote or in-person) as required to strengthen the vigilance framework.

3. Sample-based Monitoring Scope

• Remote video monitoring of selected branches/outlets for process hygiene and packaging compliance.
• Review of packed-gold photos/images: verifying sealing, labelling, documentation, storage conditions.
• The monitoring will be sample-based (for example, review of 10-20% of daily branch pledging transactions, or randomly selected branches, or scheduled remote audits).
• The role may also include occasional physical site visits if required (to validate remote findings or for branches flagged for corrective action).
