Golang Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of resources in AWS
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana, including configuring data sources (e.g., Prometheus, Loki, Tempo), creating dashboards, and setting up alerts.
• Integrate Golang applications with various data sources and observability tools.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, leveraging monitoring insights from Grafana.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, operations) to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, utilizing monitoring data from Grafana to identify root causes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in Golang development and observability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Golang:

  Strong understanding of Go language features, concurrency patterns, and best practices.

• Terraform Proficiency:

  Hands-on experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code, including writing modules, state management, and understanding of Terraform providers.

• Experience with Grafana:

  Demonstrated ability to set up, configure, and utilize Grafana for monitoring, visualization, and alerting. Familiarity with various data sources (e.g., Prometheus, Loki, Tempo) is highly desirable.

• Backend Development Expertise:

  Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Database Knowledge:

  Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

• Containerization & Orchestration:

  Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

• Cloud Platforms:

  Experience with cloud providers like AWS

• Problem-Solving & Debugging:

  Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Communication & Collaboration:

  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
