Work Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore preferably We are looking for an experienced Golang developer to join our team to build a lift and shift agent. The lift and shift agent will be responsible for migrating our existing applications to cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing a lift and shift agent that will be used to migrate our existing applications to the cloud. Responsibilities: Design, develop and test a lift and shift agent that will migrate our existing applications to cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the lift and shift agent is compatible with various operating systems, programming languages, and cloud platforms. Develop a high-quality, efficient, and scalable codebase for the lift and shift agent. Troubleshoot and debug issues in the lift and shift agent. Ensure the lift and shift agent is secure and complies with all relevant security policies and standards. Develop and maintain documentation for the lift and shift agent. Requirements: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with migrating applications to the cloud. Familiarity with Gin, Revel, Beego frameworks. Experience with using Go on UNIX and Linux Platforms. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of software development principles such as software design, coding, testing, and debugging. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Please find below additional duties for the go lang developer. Develop Linux shell scripts for automation and system administration tasks. Troubleshoot and debug software applications, system issues, and network problems. Strong knowledge of the Linux operating system, shell scripting, and command-line interface. Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP. Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects in Go lang or Linux scripting.
