Role: GM R&D

Experience: 15 to 25 Years

Location: Ahmedabad

Education Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Computer Engineering.

Preferable: Exposure to automotive, industrial automation, medical devices, or IoT product domains. Experience working with semiconductor ecosystem partners for component selection and optimisation. Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and tangible outcomes.

Job Role:

Experience in leading end to-end product development involving Software and Hardware. This leadership role demands a balance of technical depth, strategic project oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver complete, reliable, and market-ready embedded solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, managing, and delivering integrated products, ensuring seamless interaction between embedded firmware, application software, electronics, and hardware platforms.

End-to-End Product Development (Software & Hardware): Lead the development of complete embedded products combining software and hardware, from concept to field deployment. Define and execute system-level architecture, integrating firmware, application software, and hardware design seamlessly. Ensure tight hardware-software co-design through collaboration with electronics and mechanical teams.

Project & Lifecycle Management:

Own the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, tracking, resource management, and risk mitigation. Ensure on-time delivery of multi-disciplinary projects across firmware, hardware, and QA teams.

Technology & Quality Leadership:

Define best-fit OS platforms, tools, languages, and development environments for optimised software design. Maintain awareness of emerging hardware platforms, micro controllers, SoCs, and build relationships with semiconductor partners.
