GM - Hostel and Property

Residential & Hostel Operations

• Develop and implement hostel strategy aligned with student welfare, campus growth and property utilisation.
• Oversee all hostel operations: room allocations, occupancy planning, move-in/move-out logistics, housekeeping, mess/dining coordination, laundry, WiFi and other amenities.
• Ensure student safety and security: visitor control, CCTV/biometric systems, emergency response, periodic inspections. (Hostel facility details mention biometric + CCTV + 24/7 utilities). (Collegedunia)
• Liaise with student services / student-life teams on student residential complaints, welfare issues, disciplinary matters within hostels, and ensuring a positive living environment.
• Design and organise hostel-based student programmes and community-building activities (cultural, recreational) to enhance campus residential life.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive records: occupancy registers, maintenance logs, incident reports, housekeeping schedules, student feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Hospitality/Facilities Management or equivalent. Master’s preferred.
• 8 plus years of experience in facilities/property management, residential operations or hospitality/housing management, preferably within educational institutions or large campus environments.
• Proven experience in asset/property lifecycle management, maintenance operations, budget management and team leadership.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills: able to engage with students, staff, senior management, vendors.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills (MS Office, facility-management software, vendor/contract tracking).
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies (night/weekend duty) as required.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
