Position: Assistant Professor – International Business

Location: Doon Business School, Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

· Teach undergraduate/postgraduate courses in International Business, including EXIM documentation, trade laws, logistics, global strategy, and international finance.

· Design and deliver interactive lectures, develop course materials, assessments, assignments, and manage virtual learning platforms.

· Mentor students through office hours, projects, and guide research dissertation work.

· Stay updated with global trends in international trade and integrate them into teaching.

· Contribute to departmental growth via curriculum development, academic events, workshops.

· Participate in academic administration — admissions activities, student evaluations, and operational meetings.

· Engage in research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and attend academic conferences. (While not always mandatory, PhD is valued and beneficial.)

Qualifications & Experience

· Master’s degree (MBA, MCom, or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience — either teaching at a business school or corporate exposure in international trade/business.

· PhD in International Business or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

· Strong didactic and analytical skills for delivering both theory and practice-based learning.

· Proficiency with emerging pedagogies—blended learning, interactive classrooms, virtual platforms.

· Industry experience with modules like EXIM documentation, trade compliance, logistics management, forex, and global finance.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
