Job Description

As an experienced professional joining the HSBC Global Trade Service (GTS) team, your principal responsibilities will include: - Consultative selling, implementation, and management of GTS products to customers and prospects - Developing new revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative GTS solutions to maximize profitability - Driving best practices in lending and risk policies to minimize risk - Managing a client portfolio to maintain existing income and generate new income - Developing effective strategies for maintaining and growing a client portfolio - Working closely with colleagues to promote awareness of GTS products and competitor information - Maintaining awareness of regulatory and business environment - Developing an appropriate calling plan to achieve goals and objectives efficiently - Maintaining and enhancing the image of HSBC through various activities - Being a team player and working collaboratively with colleagues - Demonstrating excellence in sales and following the end-to-end sales process - Keeping management informed of progress towards sales targets - Ensuring compliance monitoring is in place according to HSBC and regulatory standards - Continually assessing the CM Sales processes to identify improvements - Compliance with and management of sales suitability risks and requirements - Successfully completing Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and assessment Qualifications required for this role include: - Extensive knowledge of global trade and receivables finance, services, products, and techniques - Detailed knowledge of the market, market trends, competitive environment, and regulatory environment - Broad knowledge of HSBC Group companies and product ranges - Sales and Client Management experience at a senior level with a proven sales record - Strong credit assessment skills and ability to deliver creative customer solutions - Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders - Strong analytical skills Desirable qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and GTS related industry qualifications. It is mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training as required.
