Job Description

Role Overview: As the Global Technical Training Manager for High Voltage Products at our company, you will be responsible for defining the strategy and overseeing the implementation and enhancement of technical training programs on a global scale. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our teams possess the necessary technical skills and knowledge to drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a global technical training strategy that aligns with the business goals. - Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to identify the training needs and priorities at both global and regional levels. - Manage a team of regional training specialists and/or external vendors effectively. - Design and deliver scalable technical training programs for our technical community through various channels including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. - Create learning paths tailored to different technical roles, encompassing onboarding, upskilling, and certification processes. - Ensure that the training content remains current, engaging, and compliant with industry standards. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the training programs. - Conduct regular assessments and gather feedback to continuously enhance the quality of the training initiatives. - Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards throughout the training processes. - Utilize learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and emerging technologies to facilitate training programs. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the organization. - Ensure consistency and localization of training content across different regions. - Oversee cross-functional projects and the global rollout of training initiatives. - Harmonize training tools and content to ensure uniformity across all regions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, HR, or a related field (Masters preferred). - Demonstrated success in delivering technical training solutions, ideally in a global or multi-site environment. - Proven expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery methods. - Strong project management skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively. - Excellent communication skills with a high level of cultural awareness. - Experience working with LMS platforms and digital learning tools. - Willingness to travel as required.
