(United Kingdom, Barcelona, Thailand, United States, Colombia, Brazil, India, East African country)Pay: $175K - $200K AnnuallyThe Global Lead Nutritious & Sustainable Portfolio will lead the global integrated strategy and delivery of our Nutritious and Sustainable Portfolio aspiration, across Regions and Functions in service of delivering our 2030 Aspirations. This role is designed for a leader who excels at catalyzing and collaborating across sales, marketing, R&D, culinary, sustainability, nutrition and culinary to enable and support delivery of the transformation of our product portfolio. Our 2030 Aspirations require a transformative mindset to support delivery of impact metrics across three areas, 1) sustainable food system networks, 2) a nutritious and sustainable portfolio, and 3) new markets and serving the underserved.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring the following across the Griffith Foods organization:Integrated Nutritious and Sustainable Portfolio Strategy
- Guide, advise and ensure regional long range plan roadmaps for our Nutritious and Sustainable Portfolio (NSP) enable delivery of the global NSP impact metrics (Global Nutrition Criteria, Alternative Protein products, Sustainably Sourced Ingredients, Regenerative Agriculture Ingredients, and Improving the Nutrition Profile of our customers)
- Ensure Global Nutrition and Sustainability guidelines (owned by Global Nutrition and Global Sustainable Sourcing) are integrated into our product development process.
- Support commercial teams, globally and regionally, to acquire new and existing customer opportunities that meet NSP that enable delivery of category and segment strategies.
- Support commercial engagement, in partnership with global and regional business development teams, within key grow aggressive categories and segments to ensure successful commercialization of product innovation of the NSP.
- Aggregate and share best practices on NSP execution across the regions leveraging the Aspiration storytelling framework.
- Leveraging Customer Relationship Management tool share insights, trends and analysis on our progress on a quarterly and annual basis.
Matrix Effectiveness and Stakeholder Management
- Enable and support global and regional commercial teams execution of NSP strategy, leveraging global market insights, and culinary concept development supporting the company and products competitive differentiation.
- Identify and provide nutritious and sustainable commercial opportunities to inform strategies of category and segment leaders.
- Advise category and segment leaders on trends and market views related to sustainability and nutrition in coordination with the Global Nutrition team.
- Deliver alignment and execution of NSP strategy, integrating technical expertise with commercial feasibility and building roadmap for proactive portfolio valid value propositions and competitive differentiation.
- Synchronize converging and diverging workstreams of NSP that is integrated across all 2030 Aspirations, empowering regional and unit ownership and decision-making.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Global Nutrition Director, Global Director Sustainable Sourcing, Regional R&D Leads, and Regional Sustainability Leads, to review, assess and report all NSP impact metrics for decision making and reporting.
- Consult, guide and advise R&D and Culinary teams on the creation of food products that meet Griffith Foods nutritional needs and integrate sustainably sourced ingredients, develop guidelines and trade off tools to help teams with decision making.
- Provide input and guidance to Global Director Impact Reporting on NSP metrics and reporting
- Support Global Director of Ecosystem Partnerships in stakeholder outreach, assessment, convening, etc. for NSP partner relationships.
- Support the development of strong customer relationships in support of our business development customer of the future strategies
- Inform and create organizational storytelling efforts and development of value selling tools associated with NSP.
- Represent Griffith Foods at external sustainability conferences and other critical external sustainability stakeholder meetings
Project Management and Process Effectiveness
- Manage the processes, tools and governance for the effective implementation and delivery of our NSP impact metrics.
- Provide global tracking, reporting and analysis of NSP impact metrics to regional teams and Director of Impact Reporting with guidance from Global Director of Nutrition and Global Director of Sustainable Sourcing.
- Provide insights, analysis and updates to Global Executive Team, Board and Sustainability Advisory Council on development and delivery of our NSP leading and lagging indictors.
- Monitor and stay current on global nutrition and use of sustainable ingredients to support nutritious and sustainable diets and portfolio development.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales or marketing and nutritious or sustainability experience in a food company
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting implementation of sustainability within a business function including R&D, purchasing, sales, marketing or similar.
- Advanced Degree in related field (nutrition, sustainability, business with sustainability concentration, etc), and systems design thinking a plus.
- Demonstrated consultative and collaborative approach with proficient project management skills project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources in order to identify themes and develop compelling recommendations.
- Experience in change management, leading change initiatives.
- Experience and appreciation for the inter-connectedness of nutrition and sustainable diets
- Experience in data analysis and database software programs a plus (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables that move dialogue forward and drive decision making.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of time
