Job Description

As the Spares/Services Procurement at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in developing Spares and Services procurement strategies and leading global initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in FE Spares - Demonstrating high levels of digital dexterity to achieve Spares digital business transformation - Enabling savings opportunities through Data visualization and business intelligence - Being passionate about data/data-driven analysis - Possessing strong business acumen/industry knowledge and connecting leadership and stakeholder data needs You will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships by: - Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and projects - Performing commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers - Maintaining collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance/capability issues - Ensuring suppliers comply with Micron's business ethics, code-of-conduct programs, and corporate safety policies - Communicating key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization Additionally, you will interface with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers on Category Strategies by: - Initiating and sustaining effective communication with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers - Sharing updates back to the Category Director and/or FE Capital Leadership Teams - Driving buy-in to global strategies and escalating issues when necessary - Communicating strategic sourcing goals, category management plans, initiatives, and targets Collaboration with stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions is another key aspect of your role, which involves: - Developing and maintaining expertise in the assigned spend categories - Implementing processes to monitor stakeholder satisfaction for key suppliers - Driving a proactive approach with stakeholders when solving issues and representing Procurement - Managing conflict and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders You will also provide advice to senior and executive management on strategic decisions related to the category.
