Role & responsibilities Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines. Optimize machining processes for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. Coordinate with design, procurement and maintenance teams for smooth operations. Oversee the operation, maintenance and calibration of CNC and conventional machines. Recommend upgrades, tool selections and process modifications to improve output. Guide and train machine operators and technicians. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Level -AGM/ Senior Manager 1. Must experience in Vendor development 2. Should have handled purchase function for 200+ cr Value including imports. 3. Must have experience in Automobile Industry. 4. Must have experience in supplier development for Machining, Die casting& Forgings. 5. Must have exposure in process audits & PPAP approvals. 6. Must involve in Cost reduction through supplier development plans & Value Engineering adding new suppliers. 7. Must have exposure of SAP & MRP . 8. Hands-on process management. 9. Must involve in Sourcing of Machining parts. 10. Must involve in New Vendor Selection & Evaluation as per the system requirements. 11. Evaluation of suppliers 12. To co-ordinate with QA/NPD to meet customer requirement for any new product development. 13. QAV Audits at suppliers end as per customer needs. 14. Suppliers Up gradation Plan, Audits & improvement plan of worst suppliers every month. 15. Do the zero base costing of each part. 16. Alternate Sourcing of parts to meet cost saving objective of the organization. 17. Should have handled a team of 10+ employees .

Role & responsibilities 1. Production Support Assist in setting up and operating pressure die casting machines under supervision. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to cycle time, productivity, and quality norms. Report machine downtime, abnormalities, and tool/machine conditions to the line supervisor. 2. Process Understanding Learn and understand die casting parameters such as temperature, injection pressure, shot velocity, and cooling time. Participate in process audits and quality checks to understand product standards and specifications. Understand process documentation such as control plans, work instructions, and check sheets. 3. Quality & Safety Compliance Support root cause analysis of casting defects (porosity, cold shut, short filling, etc.) and assist in implementing corrective actions. Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and housekeeping norms on the shopfloor. Assist in conducting first-piece inspection and ensuring quality at source. 4. Maintenance Coordination Learn basics of machine maintenance (preventive & breakdown) in collaboration with the maintenance team. Support tool cleaning and upkeep activities under the guidance of tool room and maintenance personnel. 5. Continuous Improvement Contribute to 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives on the production line. Participate in problem-solving activities and quality improvement teams. Suggest ideas to reduce scrap, improve cycle time, and enhance operator ergonomics. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily production records, shift logs, and machine utilization reports. Assist in updating downtime records, rejection analysis, and production data in the system. Qualifications & Skills Required: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (Fresher) Strong interest in manufacturing and shopfloor activities Basic understanding of mechanical systems and production processes Good analytical and communication skills Willingness to work in shifts and hands-on environment
