Our aim is to build lasting relationships with partners while maintaining a commitment to excellence. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Glass Trader to join our team at IMR Resources. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the global glass trading market, especially float glass, architectural glass, and other specialty glass products. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and trading glass products with suppliers and customers across multiple regions. You will play a crucial role in expanding our global presence and delivering value to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with global suppliers of float glass, architectural glass, and related products. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive sourcing. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of products to meet customer needs. Sales & Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers globally, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. Understand client requirements and provide customized solutions. Actively pursue new business opportunities and expand the companys footprint in the glass trading industry. Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on global market trends, pricing dynamics, and the competitive landscape. Provide market insights to the management team for strategic decision-making. Contract Negotiation & Documentation: Draft and review contracts, ensuring legal compliance and favorable terms for both parties. Manage the entire contract lifecycle from negotiation to execution and renewal. Logistics & Coordination: Oversee the logistics of the traded goods, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Financial Management: Monitor profit margins and financial performance of the trading business. Ensure that all transactions are processed efficiently and in compliance with company policies. Qualifications: Minimum of 10-25 years of experience in the global glass trading industry, with a strong focus on float glass and architectural glass. Proven track record of managing supplier and customer relationships, with a strong network in the industry. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, logistics, and supply chain management. Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and profitability. Degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
