Urgently looking for GIS Enterprise Admin Experience: 4+ yrs Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise components including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Data Store , and Web Adaptors . Administer and manage Portal for ArcGIS including user roles, groups, and content sharing. Monitor the health and performance of GIS servers and services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS applications, services, and system integrations. Apply system patches and perform version upgrades as required. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for enterprise GIS infrastructure. Work closely with GIS developers, analysts, and business units to support enterprise-wide GIS solutions. Manage security settings including authentication via Active Directory or SAML. Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures. Automate administrative tasks using Python (ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python) or PowerShell scripts. Provide support and training to users of ArcGIS Enterprise tools. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Geography, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS . Strong understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture and deployment patterns (single-machine, multi-machine, high-availability). Proficiency with Windows Server , IIS, SSL configuration, and enterprise IT infrastructure. Experience with Web GIS publishing workflows , managing hosted services, and web maps/apps. Familiarity with ArcGIS Data Store , ArcGIS Monitor , and Enterprise Geodatabases . Scripting experience with Python and ArcGIS API for Python . Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers , and how they affect enterprise GIS. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
