GIS Data Analayst

Role Overview

Take ownership of preparing and maintaining geospatial datasets using QGIS (or similar tools) to support our R&D and production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Ingest and manage large geospatial datasets (e.g., Shapefile, GeoJSON, etc).
• Filter, clean, and organize layers per project requirements.
• Perform spatial operations (select, clip, merge, join) and export deliverables.
• Document processes and maintain versioned datasets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS/Civil/Geomatics or related field.
• Hands-on experience with QGIS.
• Understanding of GIS data formats and coordinate systems.
• Strong attention to detail and structured documentation.

Preferred

• Experience with spatial joins, tiling/gridding, and geoprocessing automation.
• Familiarity with GDAL/OGR or Python libraries (GeoPandas, PyQGIS).
• Exposure to road-network datasets.
• Comfort working with large datasets and optimizing performance.
