GIS Analyst/Senior GIS Analyst

You will be responsible for digitization, editing, and spatial data analysis, including capturing on-ground information, performing various analyses on satellite data, and creating and maintaining GIS databases. You should have expertise in GIS and remote sensing software, as well as knowledge of GIS data collection and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Additionally, you should demonstrate a keen understanding of spatial data and algorithms. Knowledge of crop mapping using remote sensing techniques would be an added advantage. Your role will involve performing image processing techniques like image classification and GIS analysis to derive meaningful information and results as per project requirements. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure maps are accurate and stable according to regional standards will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need good communication skills to prepare regular status reports, highlight urgent matters, create maps, write reports, and document procedures.
