Geotechnical Manager

As a Geotechnical Manager at GeoSoft-Surtech, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the geotechnical engineering function within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Directing and managing comprehensive geotechnical investigations, covering planning, field operations, laboratory testing, and data interpretation. - Providing senior-level oversight for geotechnical engineering design and analysis, encompassing foundation design, slope stability, ground improvement, and earthworks. - Preparing and reviewing high-quality technical reports, design documents, and engineering recommendations aligned with applicable codes and client specifications. - Leading and mentoring a team of geotechnical engineers, field personnel, and technical support staff to foster technical rigor and professional development. - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, and environmental disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery. - Interfacing with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment, technical compliance, and client satisfaction. - Managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective execution. - Contributing to strategic business development efforts, including proposal preparation, technical presentations, and client engagement. - Ensuring adherence to corporate safety, quality assurance, and environmental management systems. **Qualifications & Attributes:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum of 10 years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. - Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent chartered status is highly desirable. - Demonstrated expertise in geotechnical analysis software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, SLOPE/W, Settle3D, and gINT. - In-depth understanding of international geotechnical design standards and best practices (e.g., Eurocode, AASHTO, BS, IS). - Proven ability to lead teams and manage large, multidisciplinary engineering projects across diverse environments. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Client-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.,
