Job Title: Geotechnical Laboratory Technician Company: M/s Centre for Advanced Engineering Location: Kolkata, India CTC: ₹1,95,000 – ₹2,60,000 per annum (based on knowledge and experience) About Us: Centre for Advanced Engineering is a leading geotechnical consulting engineering firm based in Kolkata, specializing in soil and rock testing for infrastructure and development projects. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Laboratory Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory tests on soil and rock samples. Maintain proper records, registers, formats and documentation related to test activities. Assist in preparing test reports with basic analysis and backup calculations. Support the lab team in maintaining equipment and ensuring quality standards. Required Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Comfortable using graphing tools to create charts and plots from laboratory test data. Preferred Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD. Understanding of lab protocols. Eligibility: B.Sc., B.E. or B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field. Experience : 2-5 years Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹195,000.00 - ₹260,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Work Location: In person
