Geotechnical Engineer

As a Geotechnical Engineer at our company in Kolkata, you will be responsible for understanding and working with soil, rock, underground water, site, and structural conditions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Carrying out Geotechnical investigations, Material investigations, Soil sampling, and other related activities. - Working on the query areas, boring log, and lead chart preparation. - Geotechnical design and analysis of Settlement, Bearing capacity, Shallow & Deep foundation, Stress analysis, etc. - Consulting geological maps and aerial photographs to advise on site selection. - Assisting with the design of built structures using specialized computer software or calculations. - Overseeing the progress of specific contracts. - Planning detailed field investigations by drilling and analyzing samples of deposits/bedrock. - Collating data and producing reports. Qualifications required for this role include: - BE in Civil Engineering and M-Tech in Geotechnical (preferable).
