What awaits you/ Job Profile

• Endurance to work with high workloads and precise methodologies.
• Knowledge of BMW data related to the entire vehicle development process.
• Release management, BOM release (NRCL/NAEL, deviation iPDM, FUX, iRAM, KITZ, COBRA)
• Drawing and 3D publication with Catia V5 and Prisma in combination with NRCL, 3D Data management
• Change management (gAMS)
• 3D Concept Design, Package Investigation.
• The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise CAD -CATIA V5, packaging of peripheral system syncs seamlessly with the engine core
• Knowledge of BMW-specific release types and SOP-based approvals, 3-step generic process, as well as I-stage approvals of E/E components

What should you bring along

• Min. 3 years of experience in automotive industry or equivalent qualification as CAD technician with relevant experience.
• Proven experience with CAD packaging, layout creation using

  CATIA V5

  .

• Knowledge about Design. Manufacturing of sheetmetal, casting parts

  .
• Familiar with work interface for Team Center.
• Extensive knowledge of design release system.
• Basic knowledge of

  Automotive standards used for engine peripheral components.

• Support for Proto type development.

• Expertese on critical packaging in respect of thermal environments.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor.

• Knowledge of BMW work environments is advantageous

• Business fluent knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Must have technical skill

• Proficiency in development of drivetrains,
• cooling parts (cooling modules with heat exchangers, fan, shrouds, thermostat, expansion tanks, hoses and pipes for coolant, oil and petrol)
• air intake (ducts, air box with filter element, resonators), tank ventilation valve and exhaust system (hot end, cold end).
• Additional Support Brackets.
• Skill in material Selection & compatibility
• Knowledge of Exhaust / Fuel System Architecture
• Expert in Acoustic Engineering
