Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To identify all possible cement grade limestone deposits occurring in various states of India though literature perusal.
Collect all geological maps of the identified areas and to plot the boundaries of theses deposits from regional scale maps on to topographic maps.
To visit the offices of the Directorates of Geology and Mining of individual states to update the database for these deposits.
To plot the boundaries of areas granted to different companies for long term mineral concession on topographic maps thus identifying the available gaps.
Applying for NERP over the identified gaps and on areas which are limestone bearing but have not been granted under Mineral Concession.
Carrying out reconnaissance surveys over the areas granted under NERP.
Assessment of the area and submission of report to the State Government.
Following it up with the State Government for bringing the area under auction.

Mandatory Language: Hindi & Kannada / Telugu / Tamil
