Geographic Information System Developer

You will be responsible for integrating GIS mapping tools such as Google Maps API, Leaflet, Mapbox, etc. into our platform. This includes overlaying market price data on maps for each locality in the city and enabling location-based search functionality that displays the current market price trend when a user searches a place. You will also be tasked with building a scalable and interactive map interface for both web and mobile platforms. Additionally, managing spatial databases such as PostGIS, GeoJSON, and shapefiles will be part of your role to ensure smooth UI/UX for map-based data visualization. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience with GIS technologies and geospatial development. A strong knowledge of Google Maps API, Mapbox, Leaflet, or similar mapping tools is essential. Experience in spatial data handling using technologies like PostGIS, GeoServer, and QGIS is required. Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or related tech stacks is crucial for this position, along with familiarity with REST APIs and database integration.
