Job Summary: Operate machines and production equipment following quality and productivity standards in a safe manufacturing environment, receiving direct guidance and support as needed. Key Responsibilities: Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard. Follow HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations; use personal protective equipment. Contribute to a safe environment by correcting hazards within control, recognizing environmental impacts, and engaging in HSE training. Quality: Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures. Raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks. Perform quality inspections, identify and control non-conforming materials. Delivery: Operate manual and automated equipment to meet required characteristics and dimensions. Meet production goals by working at the defined cycle time or engineering standard. Maintain a clean, orderly workspace through housekeeping tasks and planned operator care. Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position Skills/Knowledge: Core Responsibilities: Perform Engine/Genset testing as per schedule. Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues as they arise. Actively participate in safety and quality initiatives. Maintain and improve workplace housekeeping. Contribute to continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, O tags). Technical Skills: Knowledge of diesel engine fundamentals. Understanding of electronic engines and engine wiring harnesses. Adherence to safety PPE and workplace safety norms.
