Job Description

As the HR-IR Manager at our leading Manufacturing Organization, your role involves overseeing the HR and Industrial Relations functions within the manufacturing unit. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of human resources activities while fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labor laws and industrial relations practices. By effectively managing the workforce, addressing employee grievances, and implementing HR policies and practices, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Industrial Relations (IR): - Assisting in developing and implementing industrial relations strategies in compliance with labor laws, trade union agreements, and company policies. - Managing and resolving workplace disputes, including grievances and disciplinary matters. - Acting as a liaison between management and employees to facilitate effective communication. - Monitoring and maintaining positive working relationships with labor unions. - Preparing and maintaining records of employee issues, complaints, and actions taken. - Assisting in negotiating labor contracts, if applicable. Employee Welfare & Well-being: - Implementing and monitoring employee welfare programs such as health benefits, safety measures, and work-life balance initiatives. - Conducting employee satisfaction surveys and feedback sessions to enhance morale and address concerns. Compliance and Documentation: - Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, including labor laws, industrial safety standards, and environmental regulations. - Maintaining accurate records of all employee-related activities, documentation, and HR reports. Reporting & Analysis: - Providing regular reports to management on key HR and IR metrics, including employee performance, attendance, and turnover rates. - Analyzing HR data and trends to develop strategies for improving the workforce and industrial relations. Collaboration: - Working closely with the HR Manager and other departmental heads to align HR policies and practices with the manufacturing unit's requirements. - Collaborating with the training and development team to address skill gaps in the workforce. With over 20 years of experience and an MBA qualification, you are expected to bring your expertise to enhance our HR and IR functions, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.,
