General Manager - HVAC / MEP (Design Head)

As the HVAC Design Head, your primary responsibility will be to lead the design, planning, and execution of HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise in mechanical systems, air conditioning, ventilation, and HVAC coordination will play a vital role in the success of the projects. Key Responsibilities: - Develop HVAC system concepts, designs, and specifications for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. - Attend meetings with clients to understand their requirements and expectations. - Perform heat load calculations, airflow distribution, duct design, and equipment selection. - Integrate energy-efficient solutions into HVAC design to enhance sustainability. - Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), technical drawings, and specifications for accurate project execution. - Ensure successful rollout of projects/sites by providing strategic guidance and oversight. - Manage a team of HVAC engineers and design professionals effectively. - Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of HVAC in commercial and industrial settings. - Review and approve HVAC system layouts, ducting, piping, and equipment placement. - Conduct site visits for quality checks, troubleshooting, and system commissioning. - Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants for seamless integration of HVAC systems. - Provide guidance on cost estimation and feasibility studies to support decision-making processes. - Mentor junior HVAC engineers and design teams to foster professional growth and development. - Manage client expectations and offer technical guidance in project discussions for successful outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Education: B.E. (Mechanical) / ME.
