Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities within the business. Your main focus will be to create and implement best practice purchasing strategies to enhance business performance. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing inventory management policies and ensuring that purchasing processes align with the company's objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a purchasing vision, strategy, policies, and procedures to enhance business performance. - Ensure that purchasing strategies meet business objectives in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets. - Evaluate and address challenges faced by the business to mitigate risks and seize opportunities. - Contribute to the overall business strategy and budget process. - Own the purchasing policy, guidelines, and associated documents. - Drive innovative procurement processes, such as eProcurement. Qualifications Required: - Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline from a reputed University. B. Text / B. Tech / MBA would be an added advantage. - Strong knowledge of supply chain management. - Experience with SAP software. - Business intelligence and relationship management skills. - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. - Proven history of developing effective inventory management policies.
