General Maintenance Technician (Engineering)

As a Maintenance Technician at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, your role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, performing maintenance and repair tasks, and responding promptly to guest requests related to maintenance issues. Your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, collaborating with the Engineering Team to coordinate maintenance schedules, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to junior technicians and other hotel staff as needed, ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 1 year experience in general maintenance or a related field, preferably in a hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, is essential. Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, reading technical manuals, and excellent communication skills are also required.
