General Ledger Team lead

As a valued member of the Resources team at Publicis Groupe, you will be an integral part of a global network of prestigious advertising, public relations, media, healthcare, and digital marketing agencies. Your role will primarily revolve around General Ledger activities, requiring a strong technical understanding of Accounting Concepts & Principles. Key Responsibilities: - Handling day-to-day general accounting tasks. - Preparation of recurring journals and analysis of accruals. - Computation of Income Tax and journal posting. - Reviewing reconciliations of AR, bad debt, and accounts receivable clearing account. - Coordinating with teams for the closure of Statutory/Internal Audit. - Reviewing AP/PO accruals and Revenue accruals. - Ensuring proper recording and reconciliation of Fixed Assets. - Assisting in the preparation of monthly/quarterly Flux analysis and Management reports. - Keeping all cash/fixed asset/other balance sheet reconciliations up to date. - Compiling monthly closing binder for Sox Compliance. - Providing details during Statutory/Tax/Internal/Sox audits. Qualifications: - CA/CA-Inter qualification is mandatory. - 3-7 years of experience in Core Accounting Skills. - Proficiency in written English (knowledge of other languages is a plus). - Experience in monthly/quarterly closing of books of accounts. - Exposure to ERP/SAP will be advantageous.
