You will be working as a General Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) where you will collaborate with product teams, Sales/Pre-Sales, and clients to provide expert insights into general insurance products and processes. Your role will involve showcasing the solution's capabilities to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the system's features. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your 15+ years of experience in the general insurance industry to offer expertise on various lines of business such as Motor, Travel, health, Fire/ Property, Casualty, Marine, liability, engineering, and miscellaneous insurance. - Work with or support general insurance systems and solutions, demonstrating a proven track record in this area. - Apply your IT knowledge by leveraging familiarity with general insurance software, policy administration systems, claims management solutions, and insurance workflows. - Analyze complex business requirements and propose technical solutions that align with industry standards. - Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in insurance workflows and processes. - Communicate effectively by liaising between IT teams and non-technical stakeholders, including clients. You should be able to explain technical concepts in a way that is understandable to non-technical professionals. - Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Sales, and Product teams to prepare RFI/RFP/Proposal and presentation materials for proposals. - Utilize your in-depth knowledge of general insurance regulations, including licensing, solvency, claims management, and anti-fraud measures. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's/ master's degree in insurance, Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. - Possess insurance certifications, which are considered a plus. This position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of general insurance products and functions, and the ability to comprehend the technical aspects of products and solutions.
