Job Title : Civil Structural Draughtsman Location : Thane / Kalyan Experience : 3+ years Industry : Civil Engineering / Construction Employment Type : Full-time Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Civil Structural Draughtsman with a strong background in preparing detailed structural drawings for RCC buildings. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in detailing structural components such as slabs, beams, columns, foundations, and reinforcement. This position offers an opportunity to work alongside structural engineers and other professionals in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities : Prepare detailed structural drawings for RCC buildings using AutoCAD. Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, reinforcement detailing, formwork drawings, and structural layouts based on design requirements. Ensure drawings comply with relevant IS codes, National Building Code (NBC), and project-specific specifications. Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to ensure design integration. Revise and update drawings based on engineer feedback and site requirements. Prepare reinforcement detailing for various structural components. Ensure accuracy and clarity in structural detailing for concrete, steel, and foundation elements. Maintain drawing records, revisions, and project documentation for efficient project tracking. Assist in quantity estimation and material take-off for structural components. Coordinate with site teams to resolve any drawing-related queries or issues. Qualifications & Skills : Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or Draughtsmanship. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in structural drafting, particularly for RCC buildings. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office. Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing, column layouts, beam schedules, and slab detailing. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately. Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with steel structure detailing is an added advantage.
