Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Dataplex and Data Catalog contributing to our data management and analytics projects. This role involves working in a collaborative environment to enhance data solutions and drive business insights.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data management solutions using Dataplex to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Data Catalog for efficient data discovery and governance.
Ensure data quality and consistency across various platforms by implementing robust data validation techniques.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Design and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs enhancing decision-making capabilities.
Conduct regular assessments of data infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Monitor data usage and performance metrics to ensure optimal system functionality and user satisfaction.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data management practices.
Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with organizational standards.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
Contribute to the companys purpose by enabling data-driven insights that impact strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Possess strong expertise in Dataplex and Data Catalog with a proven track record of successful implementations.
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Have a solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
Exhibit proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java for data manipulation and analysis.
Show experience with cloud platforms particularly Google Cloud to leverage scalable data solutions.
Display strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
