GCP Data Engineer

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Data Engineering, backed by a minimum of 4 years of industry experience, to drive the success of our projects. Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub is essential for effectively managing data pipelines and ETL processes. Your strong command over the Python programming language will be instrumental in performing data processing tasks efficiently. You will be responsible for optimizing data pipeline architectures, enhancing performance, and ensuring reliability through your software engineering skills. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex pipeline issues, automate repetitive tasks, and monitor data pipelines for efficiency and reliability will be critical in maintaining operational excellence. Additionally, your familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and version control systems like Git will be beneficial in streamlining data management processes. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to analyze, test, and enhance the reliability of GCP data pipelines, Informatica ETL workflows, MDM, and Control-M jobs. Your commitment to continuous improvement, SLA adherence, and post-incident reviews will drive the evolution of our data pipeline systems. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential for effectively documenting processes, providing insights, and ensuring seamless operations.
