GCP Cloud Architect Infrastructure

As a Cloud Architect at IKS Health, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure. Your expertise will be utilized to lead cloud transformation initiatives and provide technical leadership on all cloud-related matters. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect, design, and deliver large-scale, high-availability, and fault-tolerant systems on GCP and Azure. - Lead enterprise cloud strategy and migration efforts to GCP and Azure from on-premise or other clouds. - Provide technical leadership and hands-on support in designing complex GCP and Azure solutions. - Establish cloud architecture frameworks, best practices, and governance. - Define and implement best practices for GCP and Azure deployments, security, cost optimization, and scalability. - Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to automate infrastructure and application delivery. - Support the team in troubleshooting complex operational issues on the cloud. - Ensure that architectural decisions align with enterprise architecture standards. - Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions to complement native GCP and Azure offerings. - Provide GCP technical leadership in client meetings, proposals, and PoCs. - Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and deployment templates using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager. - Stay updated with the latest GCP and Azure services, trends, and proactively suggest improvements. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of knowledge in IT Infrastructure, with 7+ years of experience in cloud computing, specifically with 3+ years focused on Google Cloud Platform. - Mandatory GCP Certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect, and preference for Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer. - Proficiency in GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, VPC, GKE, IAM, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, etc. - Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automation. - Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure is a definite plus. - Experience leading end-to-end cloud transformation engagements. - Good understanding of Cloud FinOps and knowledge of one of the FinOps tools.,
