Gate Manager

As the Gate Manager at the club/lounge in Gurgaon, your primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and safe entry process for all guests while upholding the club's policies. You will work closely with security, bar staff, and event coordinators to create a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the entry of guests, enforcing dress code, ID verification, and age restrictions. - Coordinate with security to handle any issues related to guest behavior or entry disputes. - Provide excellent customer service, addressing concerns, handling VIP guest lists, and resolving complaints. - Work with security personnel and other staff to ensure a smooth entry process, including crowd control during peak times. - Collaborate with event planners to accommodate guest lists and ensure event-related guests are processed efficiently. - Conduct security checks, report any suspicious behavior, and ensure the safety and comfort of guests. - Maintain accurate records of guest lists, VIP reservations, and incidents, and report any issues to upper management. Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum 0.5-1 year in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, nightclub, or event management. - Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution, attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, knowledge of local laws. - Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks related to managing crowd flow. - Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in managing a team or supervising staff. - Knowledge of the local customer base and nightlife trends.
