Job Description

In this role you organize, coordinate, and control all business activities for Gas Turbine product development in the turbine hot gas path (turbine blades & vanes, rotor, casing) mechanical design and operations domain with the objective of customer satisfaction, global competitiveness, and innovation. You lead, develop, and motivate a group of dedicated qualified employees to achieve and exceed challenging targets. oriented: Identify and understand problems and opportunities by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information.Choose the best course of action by establishing clear decision criteria, generating, and evaluating alternatives, and make timely decisions.Take action that is consistent with available facts and constraints and optimize probable consequences. Establish an action plan for self and team members to complete work efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishing timelines, and leveraging resources. Set high goals for personal and group accomplishment. Use measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals.Tenaciously work to meet or exceed goals while deriving satisfaction from that achievement and continuous improvement. Use own knowledge of economic, financial, market, and industry trends to understand and improve individual, team, and/or organizational results. Lend high priority to internal and external customers perspective when making decisions and taking action.Implement service practices that meet the customers and own organizations needs. Encourage others to implement better approaches to address problems and opportunities.Lead the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace.
