Job Overview:

The Gameplay Recorder will be responsible for recording high-quality GTA gameplay daily as per the provided scripts and shot lists, ensuring that all required scenes are captured for YouTube videos and shorts. This role demands consistency, attention to detail, and strong familiarity with GTA mechanics to quickly execute specific scenarios, missions, and cinematic shots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record GTA gameplay daily according to the given script, scenes, and timestamps to match the narrative and voiceover requirements.
• Recreate specific in-game situations (missions, free-roam scenes, stunts, car chases, roleplay shots, etc.) as directed by the content strategist or scriptwriter.
• Ensure all recordings are in the required resolution, frame rate, and quality settings suitable for YouTube
• Capture clean gameplay without unnecessary HUD elements or clutter when requested, and adjust in-game camera angles/settings for more cinematic shots where applicable
• Organize, label, and upload recorded gameplay files systematically to the shared drive/folder so editors can easily locate required clips.
• Stay familiar with GTA updates, maps, vehicles, and mechanics to quickly set up scenes and improve recording efficiency.
• Collaborate with the editor and creative team via chat/calls to clarify shot requirements and ensure alignment with the overall content style.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience playing GTA V with good in-game navigation and mission knowledge.
• Access to a capable PC/console that can run GTA smoothly and record gameplay at high quality (PC with OBS/Bandicam/Action or console capture setup).
• Basic understanding of using game recording software (e.g., OBS, Nvidia ShadowPlay, or Xbox Game Bar).
• ​Good sense of timing and camera composition for capturing engaging cinematic and storytelling shots.
• Reliable internet connection for daily file uploads.
• High level of discipline to record and deliver gameplay daily as per schedule.
