Game Tester/Tester/Sr Tester/Lead Shift - Night Shift Location - Bangalore Skills and Qualifications: Passion for video games and a solid understanding of game design and mechanics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify subtle bugs and issues. Strong communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with the development team. Patience and persistence, as testing often involves playing the same sections repeatedly. Familiarity with QA tools, bug tracking systems, and possibly scripting or automation testing is beneficial. Educational requirements vary, but many roles prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree or relevant experience in game development or software testing Key Responsibilities: Play through various levels and stages of video games to detect bugs, glitches, crashes, and inconsistencies. Document and report issues clearly and accurately, often using bug tracking systems like JIRA. Work closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to communicate problems and verify fixes. Create and execute test plans, including regression testing and troubleshooting. Provide feedback on gameplay, usability, game mechanics, and design to improve the overall player experience. Perform repetitive tasks to ensure game stability and consistency. Test games across multiple platforms such as PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
