Job Description

**QA Intern Responsibilities*

Assist the QA team in understanding product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to support effective test planning and execution across web and application modules. Participate in reviewing requirement documents to identify gaps, ambiguities, and potential quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
Execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and checklists to validate functionality, usability, and basic performance of software applications. Document test results clearly and accurately, ensuring all outcomes are traceable to defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify, log, and track software defects using defect management tools, providing detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and severity classification. Collaborate with developers to retest fixes, verify resolutions, and ensure defects are closed as per quality standards.
Support regression testing cycles to confirm that new features or bug fixes do not impact existing functionality. Assist in maintaining and updating test cases, test data, and basic test documentation to ensure continued test coverage and consistency.
Learn and apply QA best practices, testing methodologies, and basic automation concepts under guidance from senior QA engineers. Participate in team meetings, daily stand-ups, and knowledge-sharing sessions to continuously improve testing skills and domain understanding.
