We're expanding our game development team and are on the lookout for a Game Developer who is excited to push the boundaries of what's possible in virtual reality. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, engineers, artists, and designers to shape the core mechanics and systems behind Tempo Traveller and future game titles. We're looking for individuals who combine technical versatility with a deep passion for gaming.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain gameplay mechanics for multi-platform VR games (Quest 1/2/3 PSVR2 Rift S, etc. ).
- Translate design and creative concepts into functional, polished mechanics.
- Collaborate with the design, art, and production teams to define and implement new features.
- Own and manage development timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional integration.
- Build scalable, maintainable systems with clean code practices.
- Work in a high-energy startup environment where your ideas and execution can drive meaningful impact.
- Contribute to the overall development process by identifying best practices and tech improvements.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Unity and C# for game development.
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Understanding of 3D concepts: geometry, lighting, texturing, and rendering.
- Prior experience building interactive mechanics and gameplay systems.
Good To Have
- Hands-on experience in VR development (Meta Quest, PSVR, etc. ).
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Unity Collaborate, or similar.
- Working knowledge of design patterns, 3D math, UI/UX design, and animation.
- Exposure to 3D tools like Blender, Substance Painter/Designer, 3ds Max, Maya, etc.
