Role Overview: As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for utilizing your proficiency in Pixi.js and JavaScript programming to create visually appealing 2D games. Your strong understanding of game development principles, including mechanics, physics, and animations, will be crucial in optimizing graphics and assets for optimal performance and compatibility across various devices and platforms. Your ability to integrate audio, visual effects, and other assets will enhance the player experience, while ensuring the game's visual style and collaborating with artists and designers to implement art assets. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiently utilize Pixi.js and JavaScript programming for 2D game development - Understand game development principles such as mechanics, physics, and animations - Integrate audio, visual effects, and assets into games for an enhanced player experience - Debug, optimize, and refactor code for improved performance and maintainability - Collaborate with artists and designers to implement art assets - Create visually appealing 2D game effects and optimize graphics for multiple devices and platforms - Showcase previous work in game development through a portfolio demonstrating Pixi.js projects or related web-based games Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience in game development - Proficiency in Pixi.js and JavaScript programming - Familiarity with HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and game design patterns - Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for integrating games into websites or applications - Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members - Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Please note that this job is a permanent position based in Bangalore with 3 days of work from office and requires an immediate joiner with full-time availability as per company timings.,
