Game Designer

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Game Designer at Plavox, youll play a key role in conceptualizing, planning, and designing engaging game experiences. Youll work closely with artists, developers, and product teams to bring innovative game ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise

  game ideas, mechanics, storylines, and user flows based on target audience and market trends

• Design gameplay systems

  , levels, UI/UX elements, progression loops, rewards, and player engagement mechanics

• Write detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs)

  including mechanics, rules, monetization, UI behavior, and core gameplay

• Collaborate with developers, artists, and animators

  to ensure game vision is executed properly and user experience is optimized

• Playtest and balance

  games to improve flow, challenge, and player satisfaction

• Analyze player feedback and gameplay data

  to iterate and improve game features and mechanics
• Stay updated with

  industry trends

  and emerging game genres or platforms
• Propose ideas for

  game monetization, gamification strategies

  , and retention mechanisms
• Ensure all design elements align with

  Plavoxs brand, quality, and creativity standards

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of game mechanics, gameplay theory, and user psychology
  
• Proficiency in creating GDDs, level design documentation, and flowcharts
  
• Familiarity with tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, Figma, Trello, or similar
  
• Good storytelling and communication skills
  
• Creative thinker with a passion for gaming and innovation
  
• Prior internship or experience in mobile or casual game design is a plus
