We're seeking a documentary-style cinematographer who thrives in capturing reality as it unfoldssomeone intuitive, independent, and deeply observant. Your lens will be our narrative tool, revealing the soul of Plavox through candid, grounded, and visually compelling storytelling. This is not a role for promotional content or staged setups. It's for someone who can tell a story with authenticity, emotion, and artistic restraintoften as a fly on the wall. Role & Responsibilities Shoot high-quality video content that captures real, unscripted moments in a cinematic, documentary style. Travel nationally and internationally for brand shoots and on-location documentaries (expenses covered). Collaborate closely with creative directors, influencers, and content leads to understand the story behind the frame. Support pre-production planning and post-production workflows, including lighting strategy, file management, and rough edits. Film during live events, celebrity shoots, cultural moments, and brand collaborations. Create emotionally resonant visual narratives aligned with Plavox’s brand voice and community spirit. Contribute original concepts and visual approaches for storytelling, brand features, and behind-the-scenes content. Get credited and featured on official platforms and social media. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong cinematography skills with a deep understanding of framing, camera movement, natural lighting, and shot composition. Hands-on experience with professional cinema cameras, lenses, rigs, and stabilizers. Portfolio of previous work in documentary, lifestyle, branded storytelling, or short-form narratives is mandatory . Ability to work independently and intuitively, especially in fast-paced or unpredictable environments. Proficiency in video editing tools like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar is a plus. Passion for storytelling, real-world observation, and character-driven narratives. Adaptability across different environments—from urban shoots to rural, cultural, or event-based setups. Social media savvy and an understanding of current visual content trends. Experience working with brands, celebrities, or influencers is a bonus. Mandatory Submissions Portfolio link is mandatory.
