Game Designer – Kids Learning Games (1+ Year Experience)

Job Description

Location: Pune, India (On-site) Experience: 1+ year in game design Employment Type: Full-time Joining: Immediate joiners preferred About the Role: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Game Designer with at least 1 year of experience to design engaging and educational games for children (ages 3–10). You will collaborate with developers, artists, and curriculum experts to bring playful learning concepts to life across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design interactive learning games for subjects like phonics, numbers, shapes, logic, and early literacy Create wireframes, user flows, and level layouts tailored to children’s cognitive and motor skills Write design documents, game specs, and UI/UX guidelines for each module Collaborate with artists and developers to ensure gameplay and visuals align with learning goals Participate in playtesting and iterate on feedback to improve gameplay and learning outcomes Research trends in children’s education and gamification to inspire new ideas Requirements: 1+ year of experience as a Game Designer (preferably in educational or kids' games) Strong understanding of game mechanics, level design, and player progression systems Ability to design user interfaces and feedback systems for young users Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Unity (for prototyping), or similar Excellent communication and documentation skills Creative mindset with a strong grasp of child-centric design thinking Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with AR or voice-interactive games Familiarity with NCERT or preschool learning curriculum Exposure to Unity engine and collaboration with Unity dev teams Experience designing for mobile and WebGL platforms What We Offer: Opportunity to create games that make learning fun and meaningful A friendly, collaborative, and idea-driven work culture Fast career growth and creative ownership Competitive salary and project bonuses Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
