Furniture Designer

Job Summary:

We&aposre looking for a talented Furniture Designer to create innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs for our recliners and furniture range. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualize and design furniture pieces, including recliners, sofas, chairs, and other products.

2. Develop detailed CAD designs, prototypes, and specifications.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, marketing, sales & customer.

4. Research industry trends, materials, and technologies to stay up-to-date.

5. Create 2D and 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentations.

6. Ensure design consistency with brand identity and quality standards.

7. Develop and maintain design documentation and technical files.

8. Participate in product development meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor&aposs degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

2. 1+ years of experience in furniture design or a related industry.

3. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp).

4. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software

5. Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.

6. Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.

7. Portfolio showcasing furniture design experience.

8. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and eco-friendly materials.

9. Familiarity with Indian furniture market trends.

10. Should be good at calculations (Percentage, Conversion etc).
