Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative Furniture Designer to join our team at CUBICLECRAFT. The ideal candidate will create functional, aesthetically appealing, and ergonomic furniture pieces that align with our brand vision.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in materials, trends, and production techniques ensuring that design is both practical and stylish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or similar tools.
• Design and develop furniture concepts based on client needs, space constraints, and design trends.
• Conduct research on materials, finishes, and construction techniques to enhance quality and durability.
• Collaborate with Interior designers, architects, and manufacturers to ensure seamless execution of designs.
• Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings for production and client approvals.
• Visit project sites when necessary to understand spatial requirements and ensure design feasibility.
• Work closely with suppliers and production teams to oversee prototypes and final product development.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable materials, and innovative furniture design techniques.
• Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements.
• Awareness of trends and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Furniture design (preferred), with strong portfolio showcasing creativity and craftmanship
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of materials, joinery techniques, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage projects efficiently.
